Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data AlbaDent Clinic collects when you visit our website or contact us, why we use it and the rights you have over it.

Last updated: 8 October 2026

1. Who we are

AlbaDent Clinic ("AlbaDent", "we", "us") is a dental clinic located at Komuna Parisit, Tirana 1000, Albania. We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

For any question about this policy or about your personal data, you can write to albadent2026@gmail.com or call +355698767513.

2. The data we collect

We only collect the data we need to answer you and to run this website:

  • Contact data you send us: your full name, email address, phone number (optional) and the content of your message, when you use the contact form, write to us by email or call us.
  • Health information you choose to share: if you describe a dental problem or a treatment you are interested in, your message may contain information about your health. Please share only what is needed to handle your request.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, pages visited and the date and time of the visit, recorded automatically in server logs to keep the website secure and working.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

  • To reply to your enquiries and arrange appointments, which is a step taken at your request before providing a service, and is in our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us.
  • To handle any health information you include in your message, on the basis of your explicit consent, which you give by choosing to send it to us and can withdraw at any time.
  • To keep the website secure, prevent abuse and fix technical problems, on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a safe and reliable website.
  • To comply with legal obligations that apply to us, for example accounting, tax or healthcare regulations.

4. Patients of the clinic

This policy covers the website and the messages you send us through it. If you become a patient, the clinical records we keep for your treatment are handled under the rules on medical confidentiality and healthcare documentation, and you will receive specific information at the clinic.

5. Who we share your data with

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising. We share it only with:

  • Service providers that work on our behalf, such as our website hosting and email providers, who may only process the data following our instructions.
  • Public authorities, when the law requires us to do so.
  • Professional advisers, such as lawyers or accountants, when this is necessary to protect our rights.

6. International transfers

Some of our service providers may store or process data outside Albania or outside the European Economic Area. When this happens, we rely on the safeguards provided by the applicable data protection law, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

7. How long we keep your data

We keep the messages you send us for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and then delete them unless the law requires us to keep them longer or we need them to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes.

8. Cookies and third-party content

Our website does not use advertising or profiling cookies and does not run analytics tools that track you. We only use technical cookies that are strictly necessary for the website to work, such as the one that remembers your language.

Our contact page shows an embedded Google Maps map. When that page loads, Google may collect technical data such as your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's own privacy policy. Links to external websites are likewise governed by the privacy policies of those websites.

9. Your rights

Under the applicable data protection law you have the right to:

  • access your personal data and receive a copy of it;
  • ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your data or to restrict how we use it;
  • object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
  • receive the data you gave us in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the processing carried out before the withdrawal;
  • lodge a complaint with the Information and Data Protection Commissioner of Albania (www.idp.al) or, if you live in the European Union, with the data protection authority of your country.

10. How to exercise your rights

To exercise any of these rights, write to albadent2026@gmail.com. We may ask you for information to confirm your identity, and we will reply within the time limits set by law.

11. Security

We apply technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including encrypted connections to this website and access limited to the staff who need it. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive information you do not need to share.

12. Children

This website is intended for adults. Appointments and enquiries for minors should be made by a parent or legal guardian.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services or the law change. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top.
